How to check Director Master Data?

What is Director Master data?

Director Master Data contains firstly the DIN No. that is Director Identification Number which is allotted to every director of the company. After the DIN No., the name of the Director is mentioned and then a list is displayed that represents the designation of director in which all companies he is a director in. The list of companies as well as list of LLPs shall be displayed after in which the person is a director.

Master data is simply the core details may it be of a company or that of a director. To view Director master data, it is available on the MCA portal.

Process to check director master data

Follow the steps in order to view the master details of the directors of a company. The steps are as follows:-

Step 1 : Visit the MCA website from the link mentioned here. Click https://www.mca.gov.in/content/mca/global/en/home.html

Step 2 :  From the menu section of MCA website, select “MCA Services”. Under MCA Services, many sub heading would be visible namely:-

• Company e-Filing
• Company services
• Complaints
• Document Related Services
• Fee and Payment Services
• Investor Services

• LLP Services For Business User

Step 3 : From the sub heading as mentioned under the MCA Services, select the third option named “ Master Data”.

With three of the steps done properly, one can view the company/LLP’s director master data. You will then see a page opened on your screen. The information asked are:-

Director Name :-
DIN :-

Fill the director name and the DIN no. allotted to him. And then the last step is to enter captcha presented and then click on “Submit” button.
