As per the Delhi Police Act, to open a food and beverages serving platform like restaurants, lounges, cafés, or any other food van or trucks, it is essential to have Eating House License.

The Eating House License granted by DPCC allows any person to run a food supplying business legally. And anyone running a food business without having the required license shall be punished as doing so is an offence in the eyes of law.

Procedure to get DPCC license for Eating House

 Step 1:  Choose a business entity

 Step 4: Registration Process of DPCC NOC

  1. Filing of Application

After the drafting of documents is done, now it’s time to file it with the department through an online portal. With the guidance of a professional, filing of online application will be an easy task for you.

  1. Inspection is conducted

The inspector will check the documents submitted and in case of an incomplete application, the applicant will be informed within 7 working days. A time period of 15 days is given to the applicant to file the complete information within the prescribed time.

The Registering authority having the power to conduct inspect has also the power to refuse if it appears to him that something is not appropriate and has a risk to the people at large.

Before refusing the registration, a reasonable opportunity to the aggrieved person will be granted.

  1. Issuance of Eating House License

After reviewing the application made for registration, the designated officer will take the decision and will then issue the authorization certificate to the applicant to start an Eating House.

Renewal of DPCC Consent of eating house

License for Eating House granted in accordance with the Regulations shall be renewed for three financial year by filing an application as at Annexure-F for renewal along with other required documents within fifteen days.

DPCC Policy for issuing pollution consent of Eating House

Timeline for receiving the certificate is within 30 days of the receipt of the application for those eating houses falling under Category II(b). Government authority shall review the documents filed and within 30 days time you will be issued the license to operate eating house.
