White category under DPCC

White Category of DPCC depicts those industrial sectors which are non-polluting like cotton, and woolen hosiery making industry, electric lamps assembling and manufacturing only, solar power generation through the photovoltaic cell, wind power, and mini hydel power (less than 25MW).

It covers industrial sectors having pollution index score including  & up to 20.

Applicants of dpcc white category undertaking are required to pay Rs 10,000/- as a government fee. This fee is applicable with effect from 10th June 2019. Before 10th June 2019, white category units were not required to pay any government fee.

There is no requirement of obtaining Consent to Establish & Consent to Operate under White Category.

Category wise classification under DPCC

  1. The activity of Hi-tech Areas – Industries integrating and manipulating the interfaces of the computers and telecom facilities covered under white category neither require any pollution control device for Effluent nor pollution control device for emission.
  2. Similarly for the activity of Hi-tech Areas – Telecommunications and enabling services covered under the white category, does not require any kind of pollution control device for emission or for effluent.

*NOTE:- In the both above-mentioned categories no lab testing report is required.

  1. PAN Card of Company
  2. Aadhaar Card of applicant or authorised person
  3. Lease Agreement or Rent Agreement
  4. Gross Value of Plant & Machinery/Land & Building (CA Certificate not required)
  5. Authorisation Letter in favour of Applicant

*MCD License is also mandatory compliance that is granted by the authorization departments of the municipal corporation to carry on telecom business at the permitted address.

Procedure to obtain DPCC Consent for telecom company

  1. Drafting of Application

Preparing and drafting all the necessary documents will be required for the DPCC registration process for running a telecom company.   1. DPCC Payment for white category

Once the drafting of the application is done, the second step is to make payment on the DPCC portal. For all users using the services of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) for making OCMMS payments shall comply with the Terms & Conditions of dpccocmms.

  1. Submission of necessary application with DPCC

Submission of drafted applications and documents is also crucial step. After getting log-in into DPCC online portal by entering your User ID and Password, you can submit the registration application with dpcc.

  1. Issuance of DPCC Consent for telecom company

When all the applications are submitted and required government fees has also been paid, the DPCC will issue the DPCC Consent for telecom company.

  1. Submission of signed copy with department

The applicant is required to submit application of white category with DPCC department within 30 days of submission of application through DPCC Portal.
